Background: Until the age of seventeen, Atobe attended Eton school in England. Atobe's was constantly under the pressure to succeed. When he was a child, sometimes those feelings would express themselves literally as magical explosions. His parents were beginning to worry that their only heir was insane. After a few unsuccessful visits to the psychiatrist, they had almost given up when a ministry official appeared on their doorstep to inform them that their son was even more special than they anticipated.
It didn't go to Atobe's head or anything.
Because his father considered magic a waste of time, Atobe couldn't attend until he completed high school. Summer classes in magical theory kept him from falling behind too badly. Though he has to go late, joining as a third year, he is allowed to graduate from wizarding school...provided he begins getting his credits for college online.
He looks forward to joining the wizarding world, at long last. Even if he has no idea what it really entails.
